An Open Letter to the DNC
which I just posted on a comment thread at Kicking Ass.

While it may seem crass, with this widespread dispersion of 'blue' voters to 'red' states, along about the middle of next week Democrats should be offering food, water, clothing, and voter registration forms. The displaced may move by the next election and they may not, but they should be encouraged to make the connection between the political process and the situation they find themselves in.

Call me hard-hearted, but it is one of the kindest things we could do. And it might be enough to tip elections in some locations.
