Help Please

I am sick to death with the mess that is blogger. It has been horrid of late. (And today blogrolling is a mess too.) I'm ready to put the time and energy into changing to another service, but I don't know where to go from here. All suggestions, anecdotes, and the like are welcome.

Advise me people.
