I wonder how those who screech about the sanctity of marriage can excuse the fact that he was applying for license #2 when #1 was still quite valid? I don't care what anyone does in his or her marriage, but don't go imposing moral rules on entire subgroups of humanity while preaching about holy matrimony as a multiple adulterer and borderline bigamist. Blech.
