I loathe David Sedaris. I loathe his too clever by half self-satisfaction. I loathe his mousy accented little voice. He pretends to be self-effacing while actually thinking entirely too well of himself. I loathe that he isn't Jean Shephard. He think he is charmingly cranky. Hunter Thompson was charmingly cranky. David Sedaris is just tedious.
